 The Telluride Campus
Strategically helping Telluride's evolution into a major research, academic, health, and arts hub.
Telluride Institute is working to develop a Telluride Campus as our local piece of Information Era turf to further grow Telluride as a regional and international hub for research, education, arts, and health is wise, smart, and appropriate economic diversification.
How can we deepen and expand our work as we move into the future? The Town of Telluride already functions somewhat as a campus during various festivals and conferences. This project will work to connect these institutional treasures, will build regional and international research and academic partnerships, and will attract and create more high level activities to further this goal. The university of the near future is now being shaped as a set of distributed activities and facilities, and our region is already attracting a share. Cultivating this represents an important piece of economic diversification for our region, and a continuing high altitude celebration of the life of the mind.
