Hugh Livingston

Hugh Livingston is a composer and cellist interested in sensory discrimination of many sorts. He has been training as a certified taster in Sonoma and Davis since 2003, particularly focusing on olive oil. Hugh is interested in perceptual skills of observation, classification and memory as they relate to food, wine, music and art. He will provide some fresh olive oils from boutique producers in Northern and Central California to stimulate discussion about olfactory and gustatory recognition.
