Programs:
- Writers Night at the Central Library in Grand Junction – every first Tuesday at 5:30. Attend a free workshop on writing. Previous topics have included character, plot, electronic and self publishing, youth writing, and getting over writer’s block.
- Working critique groups – the next stage of getting your work ready to publish; two groups are currently meeting and others are available in the community.
- Write Now – facilitators conduct free writing classes at retirement homes, the soup kitchen, the VA, youth corrections and other community locations.
- Out & About poetry – the option to have your poetry printed in the Daily Sentinel; send your 20-line or less poem to mindyrice@yahoo.com.
