Celebrating All Things Fungi
Since 1981, the Telluride Mushroom Festival has brought together leading mycologists, artists, foragers and enthusiasts to explore all things fungi. We focus on science, culture, and community—covering topics like psychedelic research, cultivation, decriminalization, and identification. More than just a festival, it is an annual reunion for fungi folks to gather and celebrate fungi and their impact on our world. We hope to see you in the San Juans this August!
Invest in the Future of Telluride Mushroom Festival
We’re building the first $100,000 of the TMF Future Fund to help ensure the Telluride Mushroom Festival can return year after year.
Like many nonprofit organizations and live events, the Telluride Mushroom Festival faces rising expenses each year. Ticket sales remain an essential source of support, but they are no longer enough to sustain the festival on their own. While sponsors help significantly, Team Mushroom needs more support. To ensure the legacy tradition continues to thrive for decades to come, we’ve created the TMF Future Fund: a restricted sustainability fund dedicated to protecting the future of the Telluride Mushroom Festival.

We have so many incredible workshops, lectures, presentations, forays, and other never-before-offered events lined up for this years festival and hope you are able to enjoy as much of the festival as you can absorb! Find information like how to navigate around the town of Telluride, where to pick up your pass and what to bring on a foray. These tips will answer questions and help guide you through the weekend.
Event Overview
In 2026 you can expect more of what TMF is known for. This includes workshops, presentations, expanded forays to get everyone in the mountains, integration space and networking events for those wanting connection, live music, Mycolicious Mycoluscious Mycological Poetry Show and the legendary Puff Ball costume dance party after our world famous Mushroom Parade!
